A structured framework guiding HEIs through institutional transformation. Activities include staff training, infrastructure development, and strategic mentorship between advanced and emerging institutions to embed innovation capabilities across Europe.
We developed and transferred modular, innovation-driven SECT courses tailored to current market demands. These curricula bridge academia and industry, integrating deep tech entrepreneurship into higher education programs.
Through the establishment of internships and stakeholder collaboration, COPILOT offers students and researchers hands-on experiences that align academic training with real-world challenges in clean technologies and sustainable energy.
A centralised platform offering open-access educational materials, webinars, entrepreneurial toolkits, and self-paced learning modules to support continuous upskilling for both students and faculty in SECT innovation.
We support aspiring entrepreneurs from the academic sector through mentorship, funding access, and networking opportunities. COPILOT aims to support 30 startups and create 25 job placements by 2030, contributing to Europe’s green economy.
With over 1500 students and 550 academics trained, and 15 industry skill gaps targeted, COPILOT ensures long-lasting change with a strong focus on inclusion, particularly in underrepresented regions and institutions.
