Recent developments across the COPILOT project show steady, coordinated progress toward strengthening deep-tech and clean-tech capacity in European higher education. Partner institutions are advancing sustainability initiatives on their campuses, introducing new training modules in clean technologies, and expanding opportunities that connect students and researchers with industry through internships, mentoring, and innovation-focused activities. At the same time, COPILOT is broadening collaboration with infrastructure and industry partners to support scale-up pathways and real-world application of emerging technologies. Together, these actions reflect growing momentum, deeper stakeholder engagement, and a shared commitment to building a more dynamic, innovation-driven ecosystem for Europe’s green and digital transitions.
